My Course

2-3 Chiharu Shioda

I would like to introduce our Design course. We learn many things about design at our school. We can learn and make many things.

In the first year, we learn drawing. We are models for our friends. We make many poses. Then, we draw our friends. We also draw a white cube and bottles. We practice with pencils. In the last class, we paint. We look at different clothes and plants and learn about fibers. It is difficult to learn, but it is useful. It makes choosing clothes more fun.

In the second year, we learn how to color cloth. First, we use chemicals to color cloth. We learn some important numbers. We use the numbers to get it right. Then, we color the cloth. We also take a test about coloring cloth. That class is difficult but fun.

I think the Design course is very interesting. After I started this course, I sometimes didn’t want to draw. However I find something new every time I learn, so I enjoy it more and more. The skills you learn here will be useful in the future.
